Pre Owned Yamaha Pianos

 

Yamaha U Series pianos and their derivatives are generally admired worldwide by pianists for the quality of their construction, clarity of sound and superb actions. However, older models are prone to develop faults which, if not rectified, can detract from the enjoyment of playing. These faults can include dull bass strings, uneven toning, brittle bridle tapes and uneven action regulating.

 

All of our pre-owned Yamaha pianos are firstly selected by us for their excellent overall condition. They are then taken into our workshop where the following work is carried out.

- New bass strings (on pianos over 10 years old).

- New tapes and loop cords.

- New key baizes.

- Action regulating for correct touch and response.

- Hammer toning (where necessary).

- Casework repaired and buffed.

 

From January 2010 we now offer a 7 year guarantee on all of our Yamaha pianos. The working life of a piano is usually in excess of 50 years therefore price should not be the only consideration as quality lasts. Our pre-owned Yamaha pianos offer massive savings on new prices, and whilst they may not be the cheapest, we believe they are the best.
